I'm currently writing an Agent that picks up new users registered on a website, & creates them in the Domino Directory & puts them into a Group.

How nice it would be, I thought, to add an entry in the Comments field of the Person & Group documents updated that said something like "Created/Updated by the XXX website - 1 Oct 2003 14:00:11".

Then I find that Group & Person documents have completely different fields!

* On a Person document, there is a plain Text field called 'Comment'.

* On a Group document, there is a Rich Text field called 'Comments'.

Were these two forms designed by different teams? Is there a reason for this inconsistency?

So I need two different pieces of code, one for Person documents & one for Group documents.
